The AND Team…
The AND team is based in Northampton but you’ll find stamps in our passports from dozens of countries. We’re regularly commissioned for international filming projects as well as the UK – meaning we spend as much time on the road and in the air as we do at our base in Northampton.
The AND team is small but mighty. We include several highly skilled production professionals, with a combined experience of years and years in the broadcast and corporate industry. We are friendly, passionate and committed. We make the entire process seamless, simple, and most importantly – fun!
From script to screen, we are experts in organising and implementing complex and difficult shoots both at home in the UK and overseas. Whether you have no idea where to start and need help with a concept, messaging and audience, or have a tight brief locked down, we are great at creating amazing films on time – and to budget.

Career summary
Started of in digital marketing, and design, working in two small to medium sized agencies. Loved it, but always wanted to go into the filming side of digital marketing, once video marketing became huge I took the plunge 10 years ago to set up on my own, specializing purely in video production and supporting marketing campaigns.
I literally freaking love my job, and the challenges it brings (try organizing permission to film licensed drones at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai… Wowsers). Every day is different, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.. It helps working with an AMAZING crew, most of which have worked with me since the beginning!

Main interests
Films, and learning every little bit about how they made them, and all the trivia that goes with them! Especially horror movies and sci fi!
My wonderful rottweilers Benji and Millie and going for mammoth walks and trekking off for the weekend in our campervan!
Happiest when
Sitting in a pub garden, post long and adventurous walk, with my husband opposite, and my dogs lying upside down flat out snoring next to me.
Workwise – when we land in some new amazing country and start exploring areas to film, travelling is my passion, especially with my crew!

Career summary
I have had a varied career since I left university but have always been drawn to anything creative. From being a visual merchandiser at Debenhams to a designer for Avon cosmetics. Throughout this time, I slowly started building on my passion for videography, photography and art directing. Attending shoots was always at the top of my priority list! I have also grown up being surrounded by all things film related. Having a dad who’s a professional videographer and a brother and fiancé who are both keen photographers, it’s no surprise it rubbed off on me!
As much as I love all things creative I also love being super organised. I find planning so satisfying, and it’s so rewarding when it pays off!
My day-to-day role involves working very closely with Heather, helping organise all the logistics for any upcoming shoots. That could be anything from booking flights, liaising with clients, creating a schedule for the shoot and even buying the snacks! There may be a lot of paperwork involved but on shoot is where the real magic happens!

My phone and MacBook! Also, I do love a fancy note pad and pen to document all my thoughts and wonders.
Main interests
Travelling the world, keeping fit, snowboarding, skateboarding, playing the drums, films, eating all types of food and trying new flavours of IPA.

I go on long adventures with my fiancé and dog Thrasher.

Career summary
Started out in nappies, and then progressed to I.T. management, with little noticeable change. After 14 arduous years switching things off and on again I decided to give the filming hobby a serious go. Regretted it ever since, but met some lovely people along the way. None of them in the film-making world.
Always had a passion to be creative - drawing, watercolour painting, playing trumpet in a jazz band, and now that desire is fulfilled with a camera.
Career Highlight
Filmed a wide variety of subjects including film premieres at London and Cannes, top-level sports tournaments inc tennis, athletics, netball, and golf, A-list interviews for Dreamworks, Sony and Universal, music videos in Fuerteventura, car shoots for Aston Martin, and finally the And crew laughing begrudgingly at my acerbic wit.

That's for David Hasselhoff, but like me he'd possibly also appreciate anamorphic lenses.
Technology that lasts - iPad Air from 2013 I'm looking at you.
Main interests
Sport, despite the impending wrath of Heather for mentioning it. Also seeing how people achieve beautiful imagery on any budget, large or small.
Happiest when
Running after any spherical object in a competitive setting. Eating. Sometimes the two combined.

Career summary
Soooooo I started with photographing gigs and festivals and then moved into music videos. Worked with Nike on several commercial shoots, as well as coverage of Boardmasters, Glastonbury Festival and many others.

Has got to be touring with Jeff Lynne’s ELO and working with AND 😉

Sound Recordist
Career summary
I’ve been involved with sound for most of my working life. From being in various bands, I took to the studio and worked as a songwriter and library music writer scoring music for hit shows like, Oprah Winfrey, Undercover Boss, Catfish, Rue Paul’s Drag Race, and all the “Kardashian” shows. I then started making radio ads and then doing the location recording for a series of TV ads for The Money Shop. This lead to more commercial work I ended up being a full time location Sound Recordist.
I’ve since worked on Gardeners World BBC, Lost Souls Sky TV, Loose Women ITV and many TV commercials like, Calgon, Fosters Lager, Pataks Curry and Vodafone and many more.
I’ve also worked on Feature Films and recently was the Sound Recordist for an Australian period drama ‘The First Detectives’.
I love working with Heather and the team at AND Productions. Our shoots are fun, fast paced and friendly! We get to meet great people at some great locations worldwide.

I’m a big family person. Music is a huge part of my life; I’m a guitarist and try to play every day if I can. I’m also a cyclist and love losing myself for miles and miles of quiet country lanes which recharges my batteries. Not my sound kit batteries obviously).

Career summary
I've been working in the creative industry for over 30 years since leaving college at 18. Having worked for various design agencies i worked my way from junior through to lead creative before finally ‘going it alone’ and working freelance now for many many years. My career began in print design before moving with the times into digital media and now mostly motion graphics using Adobe After Effects. My day to day work now involves creating opening titles, animated graphics and retouching work for AND productions film projects.
Being into all things creative I also enjoy photography and filming so I’ve been lucky enough to travel sometimes as part of the AND crew which is fantastic - hard work but always great fun as well! The day can be so varied, from driving the crew bus, helping out with the kit set-up and operating the 2nd camera through to lending a hand on an edit and adding titles before outputting a film to get it live on a clients website - never a dull moment! Also being married to Heather allows her to boss me around when we’re on a shoot which I know she loves 😉!

Career summary
I remember when I picked up a camera for the first time.. it just clicked.
When drones came along, I was buzzing. They really helped my career take off and my work has been on another level ever since.
I like to think of myself not as a drone pilot, but as an aerial cinematographer.
Everyone else thinks i’m someone who likes to play with little toy helicopters.
Career Highlight
Dancing on stage with Basement Jaxx, dressed as a gorilla in front of thousands of people whilst trying to film the show.

Career summary
I am small, cute and fluffy but I also like to think I am the boss. I love cuddles and kisses and going on adventures with my dog parents Vicky & Jamie. They named me Thrasher after a skateboard magazine, which I think is pretty cool!
